from the Strange Daze album.

PETE O’BRIEN has worked for DON McLEAN, CHARLIE PRIDE, TOMMY EMMANUEL and others as a Lighting Technician, giving him the perfect opportunity to study them - what they wrote and did on stage. As an artist himself, Pete has been playing music in Pubs, Clubs and Festivals for over 20 years. In December 2010, he wrote a song for the Queensland Floods Appeal, a song that has now had thousands of hits on Youtube, was played on Commercial Radio in the U.K. and used in schools throughout the U.S.A. In addition, he donated all the money from sales to various Flood Appeals. Twelve months later, Pete started work on his debut album Strange Daze which was recorded and produced in Nashville by Panda Productions and featured musicians that have recorded or played for WILLIE NELSON, DOLLY PARTON and many more. Pete’s new single Red Dress is the 2nd single to be released from the album and also has a video clip that has been picked up by Television Networks here in Australia and a Cable Network in the U.S. Currently, it is being submitted to Music TV Networks throughout the U.S, Canada and the U.K. Pete O’Brien is also the lead vocalist in the Kickin’ Country Southern Rock Show Band, THE DIRTY CREEK BOYS.
