JR Williams

Far Nth Queensland Tropical Blues

from the Mustering Time album.

JR WILLIAMS’ love of the North Queensland Tropics, a Blues Bar in Cairns and lying back on Four Mile Beach at Port Douglas are the inspirations from where this song was born. Listening to a Blues singer in Cairns talking about writing blues songs gave JR the inspiration to write so, the following day saw him wandering around Cairns with this song going around in his head. JR has travelled north to the Tropics many times and it’s a place that he believes is one of the most beautiful regions in Australia. JR had always wanted to go further north and walk on the very most northern spot of Australia so, after writing this song, he achieved that very dream. He has travelled throughout most of Australia and although there are so many wonderful parts of this country, it is the Far North Queensland Tropics that keep calling JR back. This new single release Far Nth Queensland Tropical Blues is taken from JR’s current album entitled Mustering Time.
