April the 25th
from the Neil Anthony Concert Mix album.
NEIL ANTHONY has just released his first solo album after having been performing his popular Neil Anthony Concerts in the Sydney Club scene for many years. On his new album entitled Neil Anthony Concert Mix, Neil has included a selection of 15 songs, all of which are audience favourites. Produced by DAVE MARETT (ex EMI), the album features a number of covers in addition to original tracks incIuding Neil’s new release April the 25th, a song honouring the yearly Anzac Day march. Neil was inspired to write this song by his Uncle Lloyd who served in New Guinea during World War II. Lloyd has marched in the Sydney Anzac Day march every year since the war, proudly carrying the Australian Flag, and this song is Neil’s way of honouring the ANZAC tradition (See the video on Youtube). April the 25th has also been accepted for use by the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.
